Success in its Congressional efforts influenced MGM Grand Detroit to retain Compass to assist in its ongoing governmental relations at the local, state and federal levels. As such, Compass played a major role in defeating state legislation that would have negatively impacted MGM Grand Detroit’s revenue while making it subject to a competitive disadvantage.
