Michigan Coordinated Campaign

Facing a monumental challenge from Republican Billionaire Dick DeVos, in an environment of voter apathy, Compass was tapped by the Michigan Democratic Party and the Granholm for Governor Campaign to lead its 2006 grass roots marketing and outreach efforts.

Compass was tasked with:

Design, messaging and printing of millions of literature pieces that were mailed to the homes of residents throughout southeast Michigan.

Drafting and producing compelling radio spots for Detroit Mayor Kwame M. Kilpatrick and Governor Jennifer M. Granholm on behalf of the campaign

Developing and placing paid media schedule for radio

Conducting media and outreach training for volunteers and drafted talking points for those who would engage voters on behalf of the campaign

Consulting for the Granholm campaign directly and coordinated town hall meetings that featured then-U.S. Senator Barak Obama and former President Bill Clinton

The end result was the successful re-election of Governor Granholm.
