Mary Dettloff, Sr. Communications Specialist

Mary is a Michigan native with more than 25 years of experience in state government and the higher education sector. Most recently, she served as the deputy director of the Office of News and Media Relations at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a top 30-ranked public research university.  She also served as director of media relations at Williams College, the top-ranked private liberal arts college in the U.S.  

At Compass:  Mary executes communication strategies and ensures effective dissemination of information on behalf of clients. She implements communication plans, crafts compelling content, and engages with stakeholders to advance the goals of public affairs initiatives.
